Two years ago, Sigrid participated in the TV-show, “Extreme Makeover”. Today, we’re having an interview with Sigrid at Christina’s Clinic to talk to her about her journey in the world of aesthetic surgery.

Please tell us what has changed in your life after the show and the aesthetic surgery?

My life has changed considerably after having aesthetic surgery. I have found my confidence again, I am more open, and I am communicating with people much more freely. It’s like I am a totally different person, physically and mentally.

Are you happy with the results, and why?

The results are wonderful. My broken nose has a beautiful shape now and I can smell again! In addition to the rhinoplasty, I am utterly grateful for the chin augmentation and the lipofilling done to my face. Since my face used to be extremely thin, my bones would be visible under the skin when I lost some weight. Now, after the lipofilling procedure, my face never gets this thin anymore and I feel beautiful. I am really content with the result. I’m also really happy with the breast augmentation – thanks to this, I feel more feminine and my clothes also fit really well.

What surprised you the most (about the procedures)?

I was most surprised at how quickly I recovered and the fact that the surgeries were not as painful as I had originally feared. The overall environment of the clinic and the way I was treated by its personnel was wonderful. I believe this helped to speed up my recovery as I felt supported mentally.

Before the surgeries, I didn’t even realise how much of a negative effect it has on a person’s everyday life when they are not satisfied with their appearance. Now I know from my own experience how much even one aesthetic surgery procedure can improve your quality of life.

How do you feel about the opinion that the results of cosmetic surgery only last for a short period?

I don’t believe this is true at all. It has been two years since my surgery and the results still look the same as they did a month after the procedure. I’m extremely grateful to the wonderful, professional doctors!

What would you say to people who are thinking of aesthetic surgery but are afraid that the results will look unnatural?

It’s absolutely unnecessary to worry about unnatural results at such a professional clinic as Christina’s Clinic. Before the surgery, everything is planned and explained in detail and solutions are found to every problem or concern. I would advise for those who are hesitant about surgery to book a pre-surgery consultation, as this is the only way to discuss everything with specialists and to find out how and which things can be done.
